ok alot of people ask this question why does everybody have a different version number on theyre mods. the answer is this when you have a freelancer mod it changes the game drastically you need something to keep the people without your mod out. why because one major reason if you dont have the mod and try to go on a modded server you are likely to crash that server. unless the person running the server is running server side mods and is not changing anything drastic like systems trade lanes and ...

ok forst of all the exe file for freelancer is like a dll file. you need resourse hacker or editor . i use res hack
this shows an unedited server exect file
now pic two shows an edited exec file to represent 48.64 you have to do the same thing to freelancer exe

Hi Richard, did a fresh install of everything, activated the mod. launched freelancer. crashed to desktop...kept trying; kept crashing. I read somewhere (cannot remember where) fl does not work with the tng mod on vista??? is that true. tried reinstalling everything...kept crashing... My site as of our new mod listed as test on his site has not changed since the 19th? Since then, I've renamed it and added the latest IP and no-one has been able to connect. Luxury consumer goods from either Manhattan in New York or Denver in Colorado through the Armdore jump gate in Kepler behind Ames station to Planet Siren. i was thinkimg of adding access to the order home world omicron minor. adding encounters with the order and nomads with order battleships also in the unknown system. what do you think. this has to be done when im on vacation. i also was thinking to intergrate the patch into the mod . i will be looking into that too. access to omicron minor would be in the unknown system also nomad and order encounters in alaska with a order osiris there for back up to get supplies.

there were some changes made server side so you may not be able to uncloak.
all you have to do is uninstall and then reinstall the mod.
that should solve your problem.

thanks for posting the link to the direct connect, it saves a load of time connecting.
also, just wondered if you had changed the setting to the mod as all the freelancer stations now appear to be neutral. so now players no longer need to spend millions buying a bribe...

have been trying to log on to the server but the high ping rate, around 500-600, is causing really bad lag.
this has only happened recently so i am wondering if it is your isp or if it is my end, none of the other servers are showing such a high ping rate.
